I have been reading since grade school and writing since junior high. 

When I first began, I wrote because I had stories that wanted to be told. I was minding my business when the first characters introduced themselves.

 

I have been writing since.

I love the flow and nuances of words. Books and the stories within them took me to places beyond everyday life and introduced me to awesome characters who are beloved still and make me smile.

The fun antics of characters like Bruno and Bruce and the problem solving powers of Trixie Belden started me on my journey to becoming a published author.

 

I hope my own characters and stories bring you as much joy as these characters did for me.
